If only we had a crystal ball. The most asked question in our business is currently: What do we predict is going to happen with the real estate market? Is it a good time to buy or sell, or should we wait? The answer is unclear. Currently, the market is spotty. Some areas and houses are selling in bidding for goods although adjusted prices (ie adjusted from earlier this year). Some houses are not selling so quickly. Interest rates are supposed to go up again. Is this going to be it?

If we are to predict – we are thinking that the market will continue to be spotty and somewhat flat this year. Some buyers or sellers will be happy with their numbers, and some will not be happy. It is very difficult to sell at the height and buy at the lowest point. Personal timing is probably a big factor. Buy and sell when the timing is right for you. The pieces do end up falling into place. Trying to predict the market may be frustrating and simply impossible to do.
