Some buyers are buying but some are hesitating. Good listings have a lot of showings but they are not necessarily selling that quickly although some are.

Even in the absence of inventory it doesn’t mean that buyers are jumping. Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t. Possible job layoffs are a factor, affordability is a factor and there is a feeling of general indecision. The immediate future does not feel super positive so the market may just blunder along in a flat line.
